Aram and Tony’s Quaint Tudor Place Wedding

The Honey & Lavender team thoroughly enjoyed working with Aram and Tony to put the finishing touches on their quaint Tudor Place wedding and bowling reception!

One of the things we loved about this wedding celebration was how different the ceremony and reception venues were. However, they made complete sense for the type of wedding this couple wanted to share with their friends and family.

Ceremony

The intimate ceremony was held at the always lovely Tudor Place in Georgetown against a backdrop of stunning DC Fall foliage and greenery. Aram and Tony decided to get married in the Bowling Green garden section, where trees and shrubbery are simple, but beautiful. Elegant flower arrangements on two pedestals enveloped the couple as they said their vows in front of their closest family and friends. Black Calla Events designed and provided all the florals, including Aram’s stunning bridal bouquet!

Portraits

While Aram and Anthony took wedding portraits, guests were invited to take photos and sign the guest book. Guest could walk around the Tudor Place property as well.

One thing that sets Tudor Place apart from other historic homes and gardens in Georgetown is how much property is onsite. Every inch of land boasts stunning views of lush plant life, flowers, and more. We have found that photographers cannot stop taking photos here because the options and moments are endless!

We truly had a hard time deciding which portraits to share because they were all so poignant, whimsical, and breathtaking. Come along for this journey….

Soon, Aram and Anthony, along with their wedding guests bid adieu to this special venue and headed for Pinstripes in Bethesda for their lunch wedding reception. As a DJ played upbeat tunes, everyone noshed on yummy food, and kids and adults were invited to bowl!
