Washington, DC in the spring is truly something beautiful. The weather is not too hot or too cold, the cherry blossoms are in bloom, and the grey of winter has faded. It’s the perfect time for your DC spring engagement photos! Take a play out of Hannah and Isaac’s playbook at capture this time in your life with a quintessential DC backdrop. After winter engagement season, the timing also works out perfectly! Work on scheduling this time with your photographer to be sure you get on their calendar when things are beautifully in bloom.

When doing your engagement photos we always recommend wearing something that’s a bit fancy, but true to you. Being comfortable in your own skin (and clothes!) is such an important part of having your photo taken. We love Hannah and Isaac’s looks of feeling dressed up, but appropriate for outside. The bows on Hannah’s dress are on trend as are her cute white sneakers, which also made it easy to move and dance in these photos.
