“I’m Maya and I have been passionate about event planning my entire life and feel lucky to work in such a fun industry. I have been planning events for over 20 years, ranging from personal intimate gatherings to events on the Hill to nonprofit galas and dinners to weddings.
I am a proud mama to two kiddos, Ava and Luke, and our sweet puppy, Lily. And can’t thank my husband Tommy enough for supporting my Honey & Lavender Events dream!

I love the privilege of implementing a client’s vision and making every event smooth and stress-free, so all my clients can breathe, be present, and fully soak in the moment. I have a good eye for detail and enjoy organizing everything from coordinating with vendors to managing detailed timelines. I’m also a natural problem solver, ready to handle any last-minute hiccups that pop up.
I’m originally from New York City and when I’m not of working, I have a passion for travel and finding inspiration in different cultures and finding the best bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich!”

I’m originally from Lexington, Kentucky, but I’ve spent the past seven years in Washington, D.C., completing both my undergraduate and graduate studies. I’m so excited to connect with you all and to play even a small part in some of your happiest memories.”
